Who are we?

tan-sinan owner of studios and apartments furnished in Paris for short-term rent.

They are situated in Jacob street in the 6th district of Paris, right in the heart of the district Saint-Germain des Prés, in a stone building of 18th century with a wide staircase in oak wood, red carpet and a very attractive inner courtyard. 
 
We are in architectures and art plastic.
In our studios we like finding the simplicity, true essences of the materials and a refinement veiled in serenity “none handmade”.

Saint-Germain des Prés’s history


Saint-Germain des Prés (553 after J.C.) Is the intellectual and artistic heart of Paris. CHILDEBERT son of Clovis’s built in the meadows one of the most important churches; Saint-Germain’s heritage. Become the sepultre of Kings, Princes and Queens of the Dynasty MEROVIGIENNE. It shelters the grave of King of Poland Jean-Casimir SOBIESKI and contains the epitaphs of BOILEAU, DESCARTES and of P. MABILLON.

Then the street of vieux Colombier; cradle of the Parisian theater, the street Bonaparte (NAPOLEON): tribute to the emperor of France. The street Colombier become the street JACOB by Marguerite de Valois wife of Henri IV, street of inescapable elegance.

Since philosophers, artists, writers, publishers (editors) and composers invaded the streets of this small village "Saint-Germain": SARTRE - MANET - DELACROIX - VAGNERE.

Saint-Germain is between the river "la Seine", Boulevard Saint Germain; hitched to the Latin Quarter, to the Notre-Dame-de-Paris and to the prestigious university "THE SORBONNE"; is the center of Paris benefiting a real cobweb of transportation.


Location and access

From the Airport Roissy Charles de Gaulle:
take the train of RER "B", direction Paris, stop on "Saint-Michel" station and charge to Metro N°4 direction "Porte d’Orléans", till Saint-Germain station.

From Gare de Nord:
take metro N°4 direction "Porte d’Orléans" till Saint-Germain station.
 
From Gare Montparnasse:
take Metro N°4, direction "Porte de Clignancourt", till Saint-Germain station.

At Saint-Germain station, exit "Eglise Saint-Germain". Take right street "Rue Bonaparte" (80 meters) till left side street "Rue Jacob" N°36.
